How To Combat Coffee Stains
Coffee stains on light carpets or furniture happen rather often and can be very unsightly. Sometimes you won’t notice them right away and only find them days or even weeks later. Here are a few tips how you can get rid of those pesky stains.
Carpets & Coffee Stains
Thankfully coffee stains are rather easy to remove. Use some mild detergent and clean your carpet gently. Then spray some water (using a spray bottle) on the spot you are trying to clean. Pat the area dry with a paper towel. Sprinkle baking soda on the impacted area to absorb some of the moisture. If this did not work, mix equal parts of water and white vinegar. Spray the mixture on the stain. Make sure to dry the spot thoroughly once you are done.
Upholstery & Coffee Stains
You have your morning coffee on your couch or favorite chair and find some stains the next day? No worries, we got you covered. Mix a tablespoon of a mild liquid detergent (hand washing detergent) with two cups of cold water. Spray the mixture onto the stain. Use a clean towel to blot the stain. Keep blotting until it is gone. If you don’t have a spray bottle just wet the white clean towel with the mixture. The towel should soak up the stain. If this does not remove the stain completely, try using dry-cleaning solvent on the impacted area.
